Emma Jo Gregory

Emma Jo Gregory is a pen name and alter ego of a college professor (shhh). By day she researches *very* different matters, by night (and weekends) she escapes into alternate realities. A native of Southern California she now finds herself in Texas enjoying the food but not the humidity, thank you very much.  

Emma has made up tales since she was a child, subjecting her younger sisters as her first audience. They continue to be her biggest critics (and support group), which is why you’ll probably see themes of sisterhood and family in her writing.  

When not writing, researching, or dealing with diva cats, Emma enjoys a good cup of tea (the real stuff, nothing that comes in a bag thankyouverymuch), murder mysteries, and growing her TBR pile (academic and for fun). She dreams of living in a house large enough to hold a library like in Beauty and the Beast—but will most likely end up in Bag End which, let’s be honest, that’s perfectly fine.
