Inspired by his own real-life love story, J.D. infuses each book with the thrill of adventure and the quiet serenity found on deck, where hearts open as easily as the horizon stretches.

Originally from Utah and now based in Central Florida, J.D. is a devoted cruise enthusiast who shares a deep love for the ocean with his wife and two children. When he’s not writing, he’s dreaming of his next voyage—or reliving the magic of past ones.
