Ruth writes about what she knows: Car Rallying. As an ex-International driver, she uses this theme as a background to her stories. Sprinkled throughout them are actual incidents that she experienced firsthand, and real-life World Rally Championship events are interwoven into a series of Romantic Suspense novels. All the characters and actions are fictional. Set back in the 1980s, so not much connectivity like today. Because these books are set in that era, they can't be designated as historical.
