Derrick and his friends are on the brink of ending Darkness from the world. But it requires going on life-threatening quests to retrieve the only power to destroy it: the Phoenix amulet.

There's one problem though. The amulet is broken into two pieces with one lying in the Highland Mountains across the High Realm and the other lost in the Dark Realm--an unknown place the first Dark one accidentally created when Darkness was brought to the world. Now Derrick's group must split apart to reclaim the pieces and unite them together. Failure to do so, and Killian will go to war, killing every last living Rhythmist and letting Darkness win.
