Accidental Destiny Thief

Destiny isn’t real.
There, I said it. And I’ll repeat it, too—a few times. My name’s Tom, but call me Turtle. Everyone does. This all started back when I was just a 23-year-old college dropout, working a crap job and going nowhere in life. Then, the Rift appeared, tearing a giant hole in the very fabric of our reality and really ruining my weekend. Though it almost killed me, I did get something cool out of it—Magic! I even got one of the rarest powers, the ability to ‘jump’ into other Realms using the Pathways of the Rift.
Ten years later, I’ve been working as a Rifter for the RRS, and it’s given me money and prestige. My relationships with the women in my life have recently gotten a bit . . . complicated, but overall I can’t complain too much! Everything was going pretty well until a routine jump to check out a new Realm went from bad to sh*tstorm, real fast.
Now, I’m left with so many questions I don't even know where to begin. Like, what is the RRS really after, and just how far are they willing to go to get it? Who the hell is this irritating Neko who's suddenly following me around and calling me Daddy? And why is there an Elf Warrior Princess standing half-naked in my bedroom, yelling that I stole her destiny?!
BTW, this story contains graphic depictions of sex, violence, explicit language, Non-Traditional relationships, and an overly-sexual Neko with a Daddy fetish. So, if you're not at least 18, this book isn't for you!
