Following the death of her great-grandfather, young Charlotte King finds herself tormented by night terrors, haunted by an unseen darkness. Struggling to cope with her family's broken relationships, she tries desperately to keep the terrors at bay.

But there is no escaping her family's past, or the great burden that has been placed on her small shoulders. A legacy is unveiled. A new world is opened; one reaching back hundreds of years.
